A Summer Day Celebrating the Flavours of the Alps
There is an Italian way to celebrate midsummer in the mountains. A day spent outdoors, surrounded by the scent of alpine forests, gathered around the table and embracing the pleasure of slowing down to the rhythm of summer in the Alps. This is the spirit of Ferragosto at High Altitude at Montana Lodge & Spa.
The celebration begins with the Grand Ferragosto Buffet, served in the lodge's garden, where the Islands of Flavour invite guests on a journey through traditional recipes, seasonal ingredients and the creations of Chef Alessandro Gioè.
In the afternoon, a tasting of mountain spirits by ALPE Distillery offers the opportunity to discover the aromas and botanicals of the region. As evening falls, the fire pit is lit for the Marshmallow Moments - a simple and convivial gathering beneath the Alpine sky.
